Sales Engineer- Mobile Ad Platform

Sales Engineer - London - Mobile Advertising

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to work for a leading mobile agency in London.

The role will focus on technical support of the agency's clients using their cutting edge mobile ad platform technology.  You will be a technically minded individual with excellent relationship building skills who is able to work closely with clients and publishers alike to ensure that both parties receive optimum results from the agency's technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a local EMEA support for the mobile ad platform's advertisers and publishers


• Client facing contact for technical support on tracking and reporting


• Set up and end- to-end testing of campaigns on mobile ad platform


• Proactively manage and troubleshoot any system and campaign issues


• Develop relationships with key technical contacts at EMEA publishers


• Manage integration process of media suppliers via API or server integration into platform technology


• Manage set up of bespoke technical projects for clients


• Work closely and act as EMEA liaison for remote technical support team


• Contribute to product roadmap for the mobile ad platform for advertisers and publishers

Key Requirements

• Experience working in the mobile advertising industry preferred but not essential.


• Java and J2EE development experience


• 3+ years experience with command-line Linux/UNIX systems.


• 3+ years experience with data exchange technologies and formats, such as RESTful APIs, XML, JSON, etc.


• 5+ years experience with standard web technologies, such as HTTP(S), (X)HTML, and TCP/IP.


• Functional experience with scripting technologies such as JavaScript, PHP, C Shell, and/or PERL.


• Basic experience with relational and non-relational databases, such as SQL and flat file DB’s.


• 3+ years experience with mobile content delivery and smartphone-specific delivery issues.


• Experience with iOS and Android application development.


• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
