VP, EMEA - LONDON - MOBILE ADVERTISING

We are looking for a senior mobile advertising professional to lead the international commercial development of a leading mobile ad network across the EMEA region.

With offices already established in three key countries and with strong sales and performance figures fuelling the ad network's growth, this mobile ad network has plans to open offices across the EMEA region and is looking for an industry heavyweight to lead the business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Refine and execute the business plan to deliver the    Board’s growth strategy for Europe.


• Become the key champion communicating the mobile ad network's value proposition throughout Europe.


• International expansion: The VP EMEA will be responsible for planning and executing a plan for launching and operating into key markets across Europe. With three offices already established, the VP EMEA will be tasked with growing the local organisations and opening new markets over the next few years in key markets across the EMEA region.


• Sales model:  CPC/CPM.


• Partnerships: Advertisers + agencies + publishers + self-service marketplace.


• Take full responsibility for recruiting, building, developing and mentoring a first class local organisation in each market and establish effective process interfaces with all departments at HQ supporting local teams


• Lead the International business development team at HQ

Experience / Background

• Leadership: You are an experienced executive, who leads by example, as well as able to unite and motivate his/her team to achieve outstanding results.


• Scale and general management: Ideally you are a proven Sales Manager who has successfully scaled a media sales business in multiple markets, ideally from early stage, while also recruiting/building in-country teams.


• Domain: Media sales experience gained ideally within a start-up environment and/or within an established internet company in a commercial capacity. You have in-depth understanding of the media industry including key drivers and levers.


• Domain: You must have proven relationships with agencies.


• Domain: Ideally, you will have proven relationships with publishers.


• Functional experience: A strong background in sales and sales management.


• Innovation: You have “pushed” new and innovative online products or services into new and existing markets.


• Commercial experience: Strong understanding of CPM/CPC/CPA. Overall strong commercial sense with experience of negotiating and structuring deals from cradle-to-grave.


• Network: You have a broad contact network within the digital media industry

• Must have an excellent grasp of English. German and other languages are a plus.

The VP, EMEA will be based ideally in the UK or Germany and this mobile ad network is offering an excellent salary package comprising salary, bonuses and shares.
