Head of Product - Advertising Technology - London

If so, we have an outstanding opportunity for a Publisher focused Head of Product to become involved in a true 'game changer' in our space. With leadership from several household names, this company will continue to go from strength to strength and you could be a key contributor to that success.
Reporting to Managing Director, you will be in charge of the Publisher Product. Ranging from major new product development, new features to branding, bug-fixing and daily product maintenance. Your will drive the product roadmap globally. You would will define the new features big and small and work with the engineering team to define timelines and a comprehensive product development plan.
The Head of Product is expected to define the product strategy and roadmap, deliver MRDs (Market Requirements Document) and PRDs (Product Requirements Document) with prioritized features and corresponding justification, work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities, be an expert with respect to the competition, develop the core positioning and messaging for the product, perform product demos to publishers, set pricing model to meet revenue goals
The candidate has to provide very strong written communication skills, excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties, willing to travel 25%.

Specifically, the individual will be accountable for the following:
Define product strategy and vision
Define compelling business vision for the monetization of Small and Medium publishers inventory
Ensure strategic communication through other internalentities
Manage the product road map, development plan complete with timelines
Define product requirements by speaking directly to publishers and Business Development Managers
Track project progress and define priorities
To do this role effectively, you will need:
· Master Degree and/or degree (preferred)
· Proven experience in a Product Management role within the advertising industry
· Good knowledge of DSP, Data Exchange, SSP, RTB, Retargeting
· Good understanding of technical issues and communication with R&D teams
· Strong communication skills, both written and oral
