Online Media Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of the most exciting names in the online advertising space. This highly successful and well reputed organisations has an immediate needs for a Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for developing and directing marketing strategies that includes the creation of clearly articulated value propositions, PR, demand generation programs, marketing materials and sales support. You will regularly engage with customers, partners, sales, marketing and senior management to develop implement strategies to grow exposure and thought leadership. This intergral team member will also help identify new and exciting channels to optimize marketing ROI in the service of revenue growth. Reporting directly into the VP of Marketing your responsibilities will include;
· Managing public relations consultant in developing and implement strategic public relations goals and initiatives
· Develop and drive the execution of programmes to create sales demand and awareness that includes sponsorships, event marketing, online advertising, search marketing, social and viral marketing.
· Create and deliver sales tools, materials, presentations and information needed by sales teams to effectively position the company as an industry leader and increase global sales.
· Effectively develop and manage marketing budget across programmes and create measurable mechanisms in sales automation system to gauge success
· Build visibility for for the brands through industry events, speaking opportunities, and participation in local conferences and meetings
· Work with partners to develop co-marketing opportunities that drive success
· Manage international websites to ensure they are up to date
We are keen to hear from individual with the following skills and experience;
· At least 4+ years of broad marketing/marketing communications experience with at least 2 years in online media related marketing experience, preferably direct experience related to online advertising
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Robust marketing skills and a proven ability to devise marketing strategies including positioning, branding, segmentation, differentiation and social media in a digital environment
· Strong project management, creative writing, and decision making abilities
· Deep understanding of lead generation, customer retention, online trends and effectiveness strategies
· Experience defining, contextualizing and marketing conceptual media products
· In depth experience with standard business software (e.g. excel, PowerPoint etc.)
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
· Must be passionate and enthusiastic with a “hands on” approach in executing effective programmes
· Ability to work independently as line manager as the other current members of the marketing team are based in the US
· Good relationship building skills as key internal and external contacts are based in different countries
· Manage Public Relations and Creative firms
